we don't dive

i'm still trying to make my digital camera work again. it won't hold a charge for some reason. but i trust i can make it work. so from ole ocracoke island i give you a few polaroids. i had to get the scanner back in to working condition for these, so you better thank me. i'm leaving one out because the other three in it weren't very happy with the picture for varied reasons. this means rhendi is not in any picture today. but i assure you, she was there.

on to other things..
attempted movies in the park last night. it was the most crowded i have ever seen it. "it was a high school football game times seventy five."** after a short walk though it, there was a quick decision to leave.
we went to cafe coco. everytime i go there, i realize even more why i hate going there. people think that being at cafe coco is an open invitation to invading personal space. i like friendly people, don't get me wrong. but it's a little much there. sometimes, most of the time?, i like to keep to myself.

so then i realized. wait, thao was playing at the end. i went to make sure and it was true. it made my night.
thao with the get down stay down.
i was very impressed.. i also think i'm in love.
the crowd was terribly small but energetic. some of them overly energetic. but thats okay.
i had to buy the album. fifteen dollars was a bit expensive for a show price but it was definitely worth it. i've only listened to it once through, but i'm giving it my second go as i type. this album is sure to stay in for the summer.
