razzle dazzle

I've been taking some pictures with the ole' Blackberry. Nothing special, just the daily.

And I saw this on the Interwebs..

I've also been asked to do a little art project. Maybe this will get me back to doing more productive things. When and if I finish it, I will post it for all to see.

hills and frostbite

This past weekend was great. It snowed a lot more than it normally does in Nashville, and I took advantage of that. Friday, I had to be at work at 6am and watched the snow pile up as I was working.
After work, I quickly got my bike and started riding. It started to get wet pretty quickly and Austin from GreenFleet asked me to do a delivery for him, which I was happy to do. Bad part was that it was the worst part of the day weather wise and the delivery was in Green Hills. On my way back in to town the bottom half of my jeans froze solid and my bike must have gained 10lbs of ice. But I was still having a great time.

Whit met up with me after that. We grabbed a cup of coffee at Fido to thaw and warm up and went  riding. We later met up with Chris Halsey and headed to Capitol Hill for sledding. This was by far the best sledding ever.  There were already lots of people there and everyone was really nice and letting other people use their sleds. Good thing, because all we could scrounge up for sleds were cardboard boxes.

Here's a video of me sledding down all three hills consecutively. Sorry, I can't embed it.

Then Mr. Chris Halsey hooked us up with a room at the Hutton. Super nice.

Due to the roads, I was able to stay at the Hilton for free for the rest of the weekend. Lots of drinking when you don't have to drive. We filled up the fridge and had to make due..

It was like a vacation while still working and making moneys.
I have a feeling this post is really scattered. Sorry, I'm not thinking straight today.
