so ive been busy busy with my new job.
it's great.
easy. good pay. good people.

riding in the rain lately has sucked.
my ass has constantly been wet for the past few days.

good things for you..
(finally)

there's a guy in new york, joshua allen harris, who takes discarded plastic bags and ties them together to make an animal. he then ties them to the vents above the subway lines so that when the subway goes through the air raises the bags and makes the animal come alive.
got it?

here's a video to see it in action.

and i don't know what kind of ladies you are out there, but check this out.
jeremy fish designed barry the beaver. he's was made for all of those "lonely beavers out there".

and jeremy fish does some art. you might like it.

um okay.

i think thats enough for now.

ima go to sleep.

sleepy

ps
saw the weakerthans last night.
best show ive seen in years.
hands down

you missed out.

read it
"I count to three and grin. You smile and let me in. We sit and watch the wall you painted purple. Speech will spill on space. Our little cups of grace. But pauses rattle on about the way that you cut the snow-fence, braved the blood, the metal of those hearts that you always end up pressing your tongue to. How your body still remembers things you told it to forget. How those furious affections followed you. I've got this store-bought way of saying I'm okay, and you learned how to cry in total silence. We're talented and bright. We're lonely and uptight. We've found some lovely ways to disappoint, but the airport's almost always empty this time of the year, so let's go play on a baggage carousel. Set our watches forward like we're just arriving here from a past we left in a place we knew too well. (Hold on to the corners of today, and we'll fold it up to save until it's needed. Stand still. Let me scrub that brackish line that you got when something rose and then receded."

saltine crackers

i got my new bike. don't think i've said that on here.

im using my brothers old wheelset for now. i just have to wait for my wheels to be built now. cool. ill post some pictures.

i was at the park the other day sitting under a tree when an older gentleman with some classic plaid pants on started walking through. he was carrying a bag of something and quickly caught my attention. i noticed that by each tree that he passed he would drop something next to it. as soon as he was out of sight, i quickly went to see what he was putting at the base of each tree. low and behold, he was putting a single saltine cracker underneath every tree he passed.
who knows.

oh. i got a real job.
its at park manor. ill be a server for old people. making good money, gettin good benefits.
now i can break my leg and actually afford it.
government.

i've got a blister

i haven't posted any actual interesting things lately. sorry. just me.

i'm going to sleep. i'm pooped.

nineteen seventy one

all of my recent posts are rambles.

but i found a joint from the seventies.

and i also found some other cool stuff at my house that i will take pictures of and post a story about.

the coolest pencil

i went to a christian school when i was younger. i had one of the largest classes in the upper grades. sixteen people. my brother graduated from that same school in a class of five.

needless to say, he was in the top of his class. i'm not sure if there was a bottom.

there were no cliques in my school. just grades. your status could be determined by who had the coolest pencil. or who had one of those retractable erasers. you know, the ones that clicked real loud when you retracted it?

late in high school i went to "real" school, or public school.
they had cliques there.
but i definitely had the coolest pencil.

how to destroy it

i just finished reading lullaby by chuck palahniuk. (i'm linking to wikipedia because i feel weird about his very busy website.)
anyway,
the book was good. i would recommend it. if you haven't read anything of his or don't know who he is (which i'm sure you do), he wrote fight club, the book.
lullaby wasn't one of my favorites but it was still good. he's good with throwing random facts in everywhere which i am always a fan of.
i also saw that he has a new book coming out in may which is cool. although i haven't even read his most recent book rant.

i haven't felt like doing much lately. i've had my brother's car for the past week and so i don't have to ride my bike. i still try to but my muscles are gettin stiff from not riding all the time.

okay, well i'm going to try to finish reading what is the what by dave eggers now.

oh, and anyone going to the seabees show saturday?

i wasn't allowed to go to the cd release because, well.. no need.
so im going saturday because i told justin fox i was. and i miss him.

have a nice day.

taste of heaven - 2 carrots, 2 apples, 1 sweet potato

flying orange was great. i drank it this morning at four o'clock. it gave me incredible energy after only three hours of sleep. i had to get up and ride to my brothers house so i could take him and his wife to the airport. they're going to portland. jealous.

im bored.

today

i rode to meet nathan.
this is the map and we rode back to my house.
now we will go to town.

juiceman

i made my first juiceman juice today.
i've got a juiceman now and it's a pain to clean.

my first juice was all berrys. blue, raz, straw, black,
i'm drinking that and eating vanilla yogurt for me lunch.

i'm going to try to only have juice and maybe something like yogurt everyday for lunch for now until i get bored with it.

i once wanted to do this juice detox diet. but i didn't
it was pretty crazy. google it.

akron/family is hittin the spot right now.

i read online that vegetable juices are better than fruit juices.
vegetable next time. (say it in a spanish accent)

i went to a concert with me mum last night that turned out to be a ut game.
gross

so we went to whole foods and shopped.
the concert is next weekend.
glad we didn't pay for parking

it's nice out.
ima gonna clean then go for a ride.

ba ba bday

so my amazing friend kelli anne posey sent me a letter containing some pictures she recently developed of my bday party. we went roller skating and got really sweaty. although the pictures are good, i don't think they show the extent of the night.
anyway..
enjoy.
and click to enlarge.

we'd all love to see the plan

i'm starting a revolution.
here it is..
say no.
no more fake answers.. "i don't know, maybe" "i might"
stop shit talking.
and if you really want to. do it to the person you're talking about.
i'm sure they have just as many mean things to say to you.

fake shmake
quit it.

i'm guilty, but changing.
who's in?

today, i have felt off. i came home after only working a few hours and slept for a few hours.

this summer i will have a full on garden. lots of vegetables. maybe i'll let you have some. i will also have a little shop. lots of power tools, and art areas, and electric onics areas, and everything else. if you want to share just let me know. right now i am in the process of going through everything in it that is thirty years old and cleaning all of the bird seed and rat poo up.
be excited.

i fed my bees yesterday. they're alive.

lycra

today was obviously nice out.
so i took advantage and rode around for a bit.

belle meade blvd had more joggers and bikers than cars.
and i passed them crazy lycra wearing bike riders with ease.

they were confused when a kid in tight jeans and a tshirt passed them on a shitty wrecked road bike. (ps i get my new bike this week)

why is riding bikes the rich mans sport in belle meade?

so i rode from my house to the top of the pedestrian bridge downtown, took in the scenery, then came back home for a glass of water and some myspace.

it was about 18 miles.
not braggin or anything

i sat at the park with the big stairs and watched all the rich people drive through the park with there windows up and there starbucks cups.
gay.

some man asked if he could take my picture. then he showed it to me and said to email him for it.
im going to.
and ill show it to you.

again. buy as much polaroid film as you can. they aren't going to make it anymore.

i still haven't gotten any.

alright alright
im done.

dirty

the best story ever.

uncle dirty.
