gnarly
i had a good night last night. full of beer and nostalgia. saw lots of old friends last night. the foxes, swartout, j, the hug experts, timbo italiano, and miss houston.
brian bailed, so just nathan and i rode to sandys house in east nashville. i haven't had a long ride like that in a while. it's not really that long, but it is if you havent been riding for three months.
it was a barbeque for sandys birthday. i had a couple of good kabobs and some hot dogs.
rock band is ridiculous.
it started raining so dave was kind enough to let me sleep on his couch instead of riding home in the rain.
before then bryan and i went to the party on eastland. it was pretty ridiculous. i was pretty drunk . we stayed for a minute then headed back to daves.
im pretty excited about the upcoming seabees album. everyone else should be too. i think it will turn out just fine.
well this was all pretty useless. so ill post some pictures i haven't yet. i just felt like typing.

my godson. he's pretty great.

the kittens are much larger now and romping around. there are still some available if you're interested.

niggasickle
warning, long post.
so, my camera's done. can't make it work, so i have to send it in and hopefully the warranty will cover getting it fixed. you know how they if theres the slightest scratch they wont cover it. we'll see
since my camera won't turn on, i can't transfer my photos. so i spent most of my night last night waiting on walgreens and nathan to put them on a cd from the card. it took a lot longer than expected. so i rode my bike around west end, drank 24's in front of kwik sak, talked to veshal. i have no idea how to spell his name. and talked to weird valet people asking about bicycles.
even after my cd was done i hung around and waited for nathan to get off of work at twelve. i sat and watched him ring up person after person. you would be surprised of how many people will come in and buy a candy bar and drink at night.
we had the idea of having a party in walgreens. a candy n' coke party. everybody have a good ole' time in walgreens and eat a candy bar and drink a cocacola.
eh
the night unfortunately ended shortly at gold rush.
lets get on with it. nobody wants to read these days. just look at the pictures..
ocracoke is a small island apart of the outer banks of north carolina. to get there, you must take a ferry. there are several different ferry's you can take into the island. on our way in we barely caught the last ferry in. it was a short ride about thirty minutes.
but first we had to drive there. pretty scenic half the way..

this is where the ferry comes in.. i liked it, it was nice. it was my first ferry ride. but as soon as we got out of the car my finger was smashed in the door.

we arrived at our campsite. we were quickly attacked by mosquitos. the bug spray came out first. we checked out the beach really quick then came back to set up the tent and other things. this is our first morning and day in ocracoke.

lotion face

this was our short little trail over the dunes to the beach. it's immediately over the dunes. it was nice. i was standing in our campsite when i took this.

this is the campgrounds from the top of the dunes.

and this is the beach from the top of the dunes.

then some lesbians showed up at our campsite.

our first real night on the beach
the next day we went in to town for lunch because it was so hot. there is a small "fishing" village a few miles down the island. where we were camping there is nothing but that campground and some parking areas for the beach. it's great to have no building in sight.

we ate at a little place called jason's. dustin said it was the best fish sandwich he had ever had. we later found out he had only had fish sandwich's from wendy's and mcdonald's

my sandwich was pretty tasty too.
then we took the town by storm..

the first night for dinner we made some really good burgers and portobello mushroom burgers. they were tasty. the second night we made shrimp kabobs and corn on the cob. thanks food network.

beach..

we also ate raw oysters and went to a decoy shop..

ocracoke's gold rush..

last night on the beach. we made a campfire. then we found out there was a fire ban because of the forest fires going on in NC.

we took the ferry back. this one was a little over two hours long. they had a "lounge" area on this one. it was a big ferry.

well, that's all i've got. it was a great trip to say the least. dustin has some more pictures on his myspace. we stopped at an amazing vegetarian restaurant on the way back called the laughing seed. it was in asheville. cool little town.
i've got some energy after my carrot and cucumber juice now, so im going to ride to east nashville with nathan and brian.
see ya later.
